An oven emits of beam of hydrogen atoms. as each atom passes you, you do an experiment to measure the angular position of the electron with respect to the proton. you find that the probability of observing the electron around the proton is described by where ois the angle with respect to the z axis. a) is the atom in an angular momentum eigenstate? if yes, what are the angular momentum quantunm numbers of that state. if no, what super-position of eigenstates describes the system. b) can the atom be in an energy eigenstate? if yes, what is the minimum energy state it can be in? if no, why not.

Two conductors, a and b, are each in the shape of a tetrahedron. but of different sizes. they are charged in the following manner: 1. tetrahedron a is charged from an electrostatic generator to charge q. 2. tetrahedron a is briefly touched to tetrahedron b. 3. steps 1 and 2 are repeated until the charge on tetrahedron b reaches a maximum value. if the charge on tetrahedron b was q/4 after the first time it touched tetrahedron a. what is the final charge qbmax on tetrahedron b?
