1. Since the figure is a line segment, the answer would be D.

2. We're looking for line segments that end with Point B, so the answer choices must include Point B in all their segments. Eliminate answers C and A.
These are line segments, not rays. Eliminate answer D, and you're left with B. 

3. As with the last question, these segments must all include point B. They do, so we can't make any eliminations yet. 
Now we're identifying rays. A ray is a line that goes in one direction forever. Eliminate answers C and A. 
We're looking for rays that include Point E, hence, these must include Point E, another point, and an arrow in one direction to indicate that it is a ray. One of answer D's points contain two rays. Eliminate answer D. Once again, you're left with answer B.
