Write the quadratic equation in factored form. be sure to write the entire equation. x 2 + x - 12 = 0

So this answer to this equation i got this:

x^2+x-12=0
x^2+4x-3x-12=0
x(x+4)-3(x+4)=0
(x-3)(x+4)=0

so (x-3)(x+4)=0 should be the answer

I’m not absolutely sure but i think it’s 7x6x5x4x3x2=5040 because as the first character you can take any of the 7 given then you are left with 5 then 6 then 4 etc.
