So we need to half the blue paint, which is 2 5/8.
First make it an improper fraction, as 21/8.
Then multiply that fraction by 1/2. 
21/8*1/2=21/16 (Multiply the numerator and the denominator)
So that's the improper fraction.
21/16=1 5/6= mixed fraction
