3y = (15/4) - (3/2)
3y = (15 - 6)/4
3y * 4 = 9
12y = 9

x + y = 15/4
x + (3/4) = (15/4)
x = (15/4) - (3/4)
   = (15 - 3)/4
   = 12/4
   = 3
