Jonayed tried to solve 3a + 4 = 2a + 7 working backwards, but he couldn’t figure out how to make the flowchart. why do you think he had trouble?

There is not flowchart so i just solve the problem: solve for a: 3 a + 4 = 2 a + 7subtract 2 a from both sides: (3 a - 2 a) + 4 = (2 a - 2 a) + 73 a - 2 a = a: a + 4 = (2 a - 2 a) + 72 a - 2 a = 0: a + 4 = 7subtract 4 from both sides: a + (4 - 4) = 7 - 44 - 4 = 0: a = 7 - 47 - 4 = 3: answer:   a = 3
