1) first multiply -4 to 0.6z and 1.2 which would be
4.2z=-2.4z+4.8
It would be + 4.8 instead of -4.8 because (-)×(-)=+

then identify the ones with the same variable in this case it would be 4.2z and 2.4z so add them together
6.6z=4.8
z=0.72727272

2)the first step is to distribite -3 and 9 which wpulbe be equal to

-3b+27-5=9b+18+1
which is

-3b+22=9b+19

then subtract 19 from both sides which is
-3b+3=9b
then add 3b to both sides which is
3=12b

then divide by 12 for both sides which is
3/12=b
0.25=b
