4= x/5-16
so first what u would do is subtract 5 and -16 and u would get -11, now the equation is 
4=x over -11
now what u would do is get the -11 on the other side of the equals sign and to do that u need to do the opposite of the operations so u would multiply -11 on both sides of the equals sign 
4= x overe -11 
-11             -11

now the equation would be 
-44=x 
and that would be the answer
