Three years ago, jolene bought $750 worth of stock in a software company. since then the value of her purchase has been increasing at an average rate of  1225% per year. how much is the stock worth now? (round each money calculation you make to the nearest cent.)

Ok, so if it has increased over three years by twelve percent, take .12 (12% in decimal form) and multiply it by 750 to get 90. Take 90 and multiply it by 3 to get 270. 270 is how much the value has increased over 3 years. So then just add 270 to 750 to get your answer of 1020. 1020 is how much the stock is worth after 3 years increasing at 12%. Just follow the same steps for 2% and 5% as I showed you with the 12%.
