Since it's 2x+1 when x>1 (greater than 1) and x² when x≤1 (less than or equal to 1), we can notice that 0 is less than 1 and not greater than 1. Therefore, we plug it into x² to get 0²=0 for f(0). To graph this, it's pretty simple. Simply graph both functions, but when x=1 for x² simply erase everything to the right of it. For 2x+1, do the same thing but for x=1 (1, 3) simply erase everything to the left of it.
