The form is not about the interpretation of the formulas which were provided by another expert in an earlier post. I need the form filled in based on the wording solution relating to the research topic. For example, the proposed hypothesis headline explains the relationship, in this case, alternative hypothesis. Another example where it is asking for Variable (1) and Variable (2), one variable would be the performance of the students, etc. This should give you some indication of what I need to fill in the blanks on the form. Thanks. Based on the information below, please fill in the attached chart for your best answer. NOTE: Need response by Sunday, February 6th for a Monday due date deadline. Thanks.

We want to test if the mean performance of test scores of two different groups of colors are same or different.
If the values in one sample reveal no information about those of the other sample, then the samples are independent. Since the performance of test scores of two groups of different colors are tested, therefore the two samples of two different groups are not dependent on each other. Hence independent samples.
The two-sample t-test is used to determine if two population means are equal. A common application is to test if a new process or treatment is superior to a current process or treatment.

CONCLUSION:

If tt_{\alpha /2,n_1+n_2-2} , we reject the null hypothesis in favor of the alternative hypothesis and conclude on the basis of the given data that The mean performance of test scores of African k-12 students is equal to the mean performance of test scores of American k-12 students.
If the P-value obtained is less than the significance level \alpha. A low P-Value is statistically significant. It provides a strong evidence against the null hypothesis as there is less than a 5% probability that the null is correct. Hence we reject the null hypothesis in favor of the alternative hypothesis and conclude on the basis of the given sample data that The mean performance of test scores of African k-12 students is equal to the mean performance of test scores of American k-12 students.
If t>t_{1-\alpha /2,n_1+n_2-2} \text{ or } t If the P-value obtained is greater than the significance level \alpha. A high P-Value is statistically not significant. It provides a strong evidence against the alternative hypothesis as there is less than a 5% probability that the alternative is correct. Hence we fail to reject the null hypothesis in favor of the alternative hypothesis and conclude on the basis of the given sample data that the mean performance of test scores of African k-12 students is not equal to the mean performance of test scores of American k-12 students.
The two variables are Performance of students which are determined by test scores and the colors of students(American or African).

Independent variable:
Independent variables are those variables whose values are manipulated or changed by the statisticians as per their experiment or study and their effects are measured and compared. Its value is independent of the other variables in the study. These variables are called independent because these variables predict or forecast the values of the dependent variables in the model. We can think of the independent variable as the cause.

Dependent variable:
The dependent variables are the variables that measure the affect of the independent variables. The dependent variable is the variable which is predicted or forecasted using a model. The value of the dependent variable depends on the other variables which are called independent variables. It is the outcome or the response variable. We can think of the dependent variable as the effect.
According to the Problem,
Performance of students depends on the colors of students as it is given that "The internalized failure and adverse effects on African American K-12 students of color".
Therefore, performance of students is the dependent variable and colors of the students is the independent variable.
