Take this example:  Tony has an essay coming up as he sits down to study he gets a text message his friend Amy. Amy just got tickets to a basket  ball game. Instead of telling her no Tony goes to the game saying he will to the work after , When Tony gets home the new season of his favorite show is on Netflix, so for the next 3 days instead of writing Tony watches his show. Pretty soon it's 10:30 on Sunday the essay is due in the morning; Tony he pulls an all nighter of pure thoughtless writing and fails the test.

2.Yes sometimes we all get the idea in our head that we can just have fun and let our responsibilities slip through our fingers. Sometimes I find my self listening to music and playing online games instead of doing my math homework.
