PLEASE I REALLY NEED HELP Why was it harder for pre-blockbuster-era moviegoers to see movies as soon as they were released?

The studio system meant only certain films showed at certain theaters.

Antitrust laws disrupted movie exhibition.

Only so many prints could be made, each sent to one theater at a time.

Strict laws about propaganda required extra time to examine films.
