1. Brode and Mason were working together to compare two T-Shirt Companies. They both looked up companies and researched costs. Brode thought the Sweet T Shirts was the best and they should use
the rule y = 4x + 5. Mason thought Funky T Shirts was best and they should use y = 4(x + 5). In
both of these equations x is the total number of shirts and y is the total cost.
a. Find the total cost of 5 shirts at both companies and show these two rules are not the same.
