You have just started your first job and received your first paycheck. You decide that it is time to open a checking account so you have a place to deposit your paychecks. You go to your local bank and open a new checking account with $275 from your paycheck on October 2nd. When you get home, you find an electric bill from Volts-R-Us that needs to be paid. You write out check 100 for $85.67 to the electric company. You are feeling rather responsible. You place your starter checks in a safe place.

On October 6th, your debit card arrives and you are excited to go shopping. You are now able to make a purchase with a swipe of a card. You want to go out and get a few things, but you remember the $20 that your friend gave you. You go and deposit this and then decide to shop until you drop! Using your debit card, you buy the following:

2 packs of gum from In-Convenience for $1.75
gas from Dino Car for $38.67
new shoes from Foot Pods for $67.85
lunch from the Food Court for $11.23
a new cabinet from The Hanging Box for $74.89
groceries from Food on the Shelf for $105.89.
Since you had multiple purchases on October 6th, the bank processed the largest transactions first. This caused your purchases at In-Convenience, Dino Car, Foot Pods, and the Food court to overdraw your account. At $38 per fee, the total comes to $152 in fees. After this, you vow to always keep your register with you and accurate.

How does your bank register look like after all of these transactions? Complete your bank register and upload it on the following page. NUMBER DATE TRANSACTION DESCRIPTION PAYMENT, FEE, WITHDRAWAL (-) DEPOSIT, CREDIT (+) $BALANCE
