2a:  The fraction bar for 4/5 would be more full.  if you cannot picture ityou may just have to draw it.  use a ruler and draw two equal length "bars" then divide one into fifths and the other into sevenths, then fill in the appropriate amount.

2b:  4/5 > 4/7

2c:  The idea is that as the denominator gets larger, those 4 pieces take up less and less space.  Try thinking what happens with 4/1, 4/2, 4/3, 4/4, 4/5, 4/6 and 4/7  It ight be easier to envision something like 1/2 and 1/4.  Two 1/4s would make 1/2, so 1/4 is less than 1/2.

3a:  You could try thinking in percents or decimals.  1/2 is obviously 50% then 4/7 is 4 times 1/7, and 1/7 is about 14%, so 14*4= 56%.  Or you could compare more directly like saying 1/2 is 50% and 3.5/7 would be 50%, so 4/7 is bigger. There are a lot of ways to think about it.  

3b:  the easyness is shown in my second idea in 3a.  it's super easy to cut a number in half.  it will either be a whole number or a number with .5 at the end.  then you can tell if your other fraction is bigger or smaller than 1/2
