Kelsi recently read that the reason they couldn't afford to buy a house was due to their love of avocado toast. This, reasonably, made Kelsi wonder how expensive avocados really are, on average, and they decided to investigate. They took a random sample of 1,001 different US grocery stores and recorded the average avocado price from each store during 2019 (yes, this is actual avocado price data from Hass Avocado Board, updated 8/5/2020). After some careful budget analysis, Kelsi determines that if avocados cost more than $1.37, on average, that they will be unable to buy a house-- do US avocados in 2019 cost, on average, more than $1.37. Use the information below to answer the following questions.

sample size mean standard deviation
1,001 $1.41 $0.40

Required:
Describe the distribution of prices, including context, shape, center, and, spread. additionally, is there visual evidence that the average avocado price in 2019 is higher than the cutoff to afford a house? Explain.
