1. A group of doctors published an article in the New England Journal of Medicine. In the article they revealed the findings of a study to determine if there is a difference in survival rates for men who undergo surgery for localized prostate cancer and those who are treated with observation only. The researchers randomly assigned 731 men with localized prostate cancer to radical prostatectomy or observation. During the years of follow-up, 245 of 367 (66.8%) assigned to surgery survived for at least 5 years and 223 of 364 men (61.3%) assigned to observation survived for at least 5 years. Construct and interpret a 95% confidence interval for the difference in the true proportion of men like these that would survive for at least 5 years after receiving surgery and the proportion that would survive for at least 5 years when only being observed. Include all 4 steps of the inference procedure.

Solve the problem. a student earned grades of c, a, b, and a in four different courses. those courses had these corresponding numbers of credit hours: 4, 5, 1, and 5. the grading system assigns quality points to letter grades as follows: a = 4, b = 3, c = 2, d = 1, and f = 0. compute the grade point average (gpa) and round the result to two decimal places. 3.40 3.50 8.75 2.18

Use the spider tool located on page 1 of this activity to draw a 12-pointed star for the new logo. (hint: if the spider rotates 360 degrees -- or 720 degrees or 1080 degrees -- she will be facing in the same direction in which she started. when the spider is done drawing, you want her to be facing in the same direction in which she started. she'll be making 12 rotations, all the same size, so each rotation must be some multiple of 360/12 = 30 degrees.) urgently. been stuck on this problem for around 45 minutes now.! it should be easy if you're smart enough
