Research has shown that for every $0.10 increase in the fare the number of riders

a) Total revenue is the product of the price per fare and the number of riders. Write an
expression to represent the revenue for the harbour ferry. [2]

b) Find the maximum revenue. [4]

c) For this revenue, how many riders take the ferry and how much is the fare per
person? [2]
