purchase wood to build the planter with a length of 12 feet, a width of 6 feet,
and a height of 3 feet. When Mark determines the number of cubic feet of soil
to fill the planter half-full, which formula should he use: surface area or
volume? How many cubic feet of soil does he need to fill the planter half-full?
