Please refer to the supplemental spreadsheet on Boeing’s capital structure for this question. There is a lot of financial information, but you should concentrate on data presented in yellow background cells in each worksheet. You may need to scroll to view more data points, default view may not be inclusive. How would you explain Boeing’s capital structure (financing policy) changes (see D/E and D/V ratios in “Balance Sheet” worksheet) during the time data is available using all the relevant factors/theories (hint: trade off theory or pecking order theory?)
