A box of chocolates is a prism with a base in the shape of a heart. To the right, are the measurements of the base. Three different students have each drawn line segments showing how they plan on finding the area of the heart-shaped base. 1) For each student’s plan, describe the shapes the student must find the area of and the operations they must use to calculate the total area.

2) Although all three methods could work, one of them requires measurements that are not provided. Which one is it?

3) Decide which of the student's plan you will use to find the area of the base. Then, using the quadrilaterals and triangles drawn in your selected plan, find the area of the base.
For Question #1, name the geometric 2D figures on each student's plan and how many of each one compose the heart-shaped base. For Question #2, determine if you can get directly from the given measurements on the heart-shaped base all values to calculate the area of the students' plan 2D figures (without doing any additional consideration or calculation). One of the students' plan has missing or undefined values that need to be calculated before determining the area of the corresponding 2D figure. For Question #3, pick one of the students' plan (do not create your own plan) and use the figures of the plan and the corresponding measurements to calculate the area of the heart-shaped base. You need to be very specific when providing your answers.

Remember that you need to DESCRIBE your answer and PROVIDE the numeric solution.
