Anita works at a bike shop. The shop receives a shipment of new tires that are supposed to be less likely to get flats than the shop's current tires. Anita puts the current tires on a random sample of 8 bikes and puts the new tires on a random sample of 8 bikes. She collects data on the number of flats for each bike over a one-year period. Current tires: 4, 5, 7, 2, 3, 9, 7, 5 New tires: 1, 3, 3, 3, 1, 2, 1, 2 The means are 5.25 and 2 respectively, for a difference of 3.25. Anita wants to know if this is significant or if it could be caused by chance. To find out, she re-randomizes the results 15 times and finds the differences of the means. The dot plot shows the data. What is the best conclusion for Anita to make based on the data?
