Anoav uses which statistical distribution to determine the significance of the results

In statistics, ANOVA means Analysis of Variance. This is a statistical tool that helps in determining if the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable is significant or not. It uses the F-distribution to determine the difference of means. That is why the other name for ANOVA is the F-test. It was named in honor of Ronald Fisher. It is a table consisting of F values which is simply the ratio of two variances. It depends on the degrees of freedom and the α to be used.
