How do units you to better understand a problem? how do units sometimes get in the way of solving a problem?

Unit of measurement is a standard for measurement of a quantity. Every quantity has its own units. The system is called  International System of Units. But, units also help us to better understand a problem. With units we can represent the meaning of the problem and the effect that if a certain event occurs. So, we units we can in a certain way measure the problem. On the other hand, units can sometimes get in the way of solving a problem because it can make confusion and can not measure human impact and influence, because are irrational and unpredictable.
