Assuming that the values are:

34 degrees = 6pm
30 degrees = 8pm
28 degrees = 10pm

With respect of the temperature, the formula you should first use is y/x

where in it is 34-38/6-10 = -6 degress Fahrenheit/4 hours = -1.5 Fahrenheit, meaning that the temperature decreases every hour.
