This a question worth 10 points plus ill give away 50 next post. lets see who can solve all brainliest step up : )
i was listening to my favorite kids' radio program last week and they played a song called "why does the sun shine" by a group called they might be giants. one of the lines in the song is, "if the sun were hollow, a million earths could fit inside." and what do you suppose i did then? yup, i said, "hey, great geometry problem! we haven't done one about volume in a while." so your task is to figure out whether a million earths would really fit inside the sun. to you out, i'll give you the numbers that you need to start. the world book web site () says that the sun has a diameter of 865,000 miles and the earth has a diameter of 8,000 miles. i'm pretty sure they're talking about a situation where you're not taking complete earths, but sort of "pouring" each earth into the sun. good luck!
