What is 9 2/6 - 6 5/6

1. Convert mixed fractions to improper fractions:
     9 2/6- 6 5/6= 56/6  -  41/6
2. Subtract
                     =  15/6
3. Convert improper fraction to a mixed fraction
                     = 2 3/6
4. Reduce to simplest form.
                     = 2 1/2
