What are the coordinates of the vertex of the graph? is it a maximum or minimum? could someone explain how to find the vertex of the graph and how to find out if it is a maximum or minimum? i really need !

The vertex is where the bottom(or top of the U)  If you look at the picture the Vertex is (3, 1)

The vertex it a maximum because the parabola points down( the maximum it y=1)
