(f)=-x+5
(g)-x-3
(h)=-x+3
The explanation for e-f is that when I use the distributive property, the -1 distribute to both the x coefficient and the constant, which is the number inside the parenthesis.
For g-h, its that when you distribute the negative sign, it changes the the signs on the inside, in other words to their opposites.
