In my class we're working with inequalities. i understand the overall concept and have worked through most of the problems, but i'm unsure as to how i'm supposed to approach this it was a -3(x-1) then i wouldn't have a problem, the distribution rule would me out; but, since it's 3-(x-1), how would i approach this? would i swap the negative/subtraction symbols to make them positive/addition? or would i use the subtraction sign as an invisible (-1) in order to make the equation -x+1?
