Then gets a 10% raise.

10% of 25 = (10/100)*25 = 0.1*25 = 2.5

Raise = $2.5

New hourly rate = $25 + $2.5 = $27.50

For the 8 hours, total = $27.50 * 8 = $220 

So she will now make $220 for the new rate.
