Please help Mrs. Jastren, Mrs. Selecman, Mrs. Wineman and Ms. Bronson are going school supply shopping. Each of
them buys two notebooks and three pens. Let n represent the cost of a notebook, and p represent the cost
of a pen.
Write two different expressions that represent the total money that the four of them spent in total together.
(One expression should include parentheses and one should be without them.)
Then, explain how the parts of each expression function to describe the total money spent in a different
way.
Be sure to number and show work on a separate sheet of paper. Your teacher will ask to see your work
