Zach makes $750 a week plus commission. This week he had $15,000 in sales, and her commission rate is 5%. He saves $300 of his total weekly pay. He decides to take the $300 that he saves and invests it into a money market account for 10 years at 3% interest. This weekend he went to a concert at the Lakewood Amphitheatre. His company gave him discounted tickets that were 25% off. He paid $15. He wanted to buy a souvenir from the concert, but they were overpriced. A t-shirt cost $50, but the souvenir shop only paid $5 for them. After the concert Zach went to his favorite pizza place and ate a medium New York style pizza. His total before 10% sales tax and a 20% tip was $15.50.
