How can I factor x^3-5x^2+2x+12? This is for Algebra 2. I need to algebraically find all of the solutions to x^4-3x^3-8x^2+16x+24, and one, x=-2, was already given to me, so I divided the polynomial by x+2 and got x^3-5x^2+2x+12. But now I’m lost. Can someone please help?
