Two stores have movies to rent. • The first store charges a $12.50 membership fee plus $1.50 per movie rented.
• The second store has no membership fee but charges $3.50 per movie
rented.
What system of equations would be used to determine what the minimum number of
movies a person would need to rent in a month for the first store to be a better deal?
I= 1.50y + 12.50
I= y + 3.50
y = 1.50x + 12.50
y = 3.502
I= 12.50y + 1.50
I= 3.50y
y = 1.50z + 12.50
y = x + 3.50
