Provide a detailed comment on the following Geometry puzzle: You and your neighbor are working on a summer project!
You are measuring the amount of water your circular above-ground pool holds. It has a radius of 11 feet and a height of
5 feet. Your neighbor also wants an above-ground pool but he wants it to be twice the volume. You suggest that they
double the height and double the radius so it is twice as big.
* What will be the new dimensions of your neighbor's pool?
* Will it actually hold twice as many gallons as your pool?
Why or why not? Provide detailed calculations including units in your comparison.
