Q3Project Part 1 Problem solving (UPSC) Question:
You are planning to build a swimming pool in your backyard, which is a
rectangular shape with length 50 meters and width of 40 meters. (The shape
of the pool is up to you, but it cannot be a triangle, quadrilateral nor octagon)
The pool will have a pathway around it that fits to the boarder of the backyard
with the width of 2 m and the width of the pool wall will be 20 cm. 1) What is
the base area of the pool? 2) What is the area of the pathway around the
pool?
