A father was pushing a child on a swing. The first time after the father stops pushing, the swing goes 3.52 feet, which was a decrease of 12% of the maximum height. The swing continues to decrease by 12% on each successive swing. The recursive equation that represents this situation is:

f(1) = 3.52, f(n) = f(n-1) * 0.88

a) What was the maximum height of the swing before the father stopped pushing it?

b) What was the height 7 swings after the father stopped pushing it?
