Geometry Distance problem : Mike lives in the white house (2, 3) at the top of the hill and Mike want to go play video games with his friend who lives in the brown house (-1, -2). Mike usually takes the route that passes by the haunted purple house (2, -1), and it always freaks him out. To avoid this, Mike's mom tells him to take the straight path there but he is convinced it's a longer route than his route.
