Free points everyone and free mark who wants some for the mark first come first serve ok

Does anyone know how to solve and graph this: 4 + | a + 2 | < 7the only part i don't get is the "4 +"

(4 points) part b: make tables to find the solution to 4x = 2x−2. take the integer values of x between −3 and 3. (4 points) part c: how can you solve the equation 4x = 2x−2 graphically? (2 points)

Why can't my rank go i have 1723 points, but my rank is only at ambitious, which is only 250 points! like, (p. s. i know this isn't related to math, but i just don't know why it's doing this and i would really appreciate if someone could tell me whats going on with this)
