3. Suppose the value to me of snorkeling for the day is 60, of hiking for the day is 40, of reading for the day is 0, and of seeing my favorite artist in concert is -30. I represent these values as vector A = (60, 40, 0, −30). Next, I’ll present alternative ordered values as vectors B, C, D and E. For each of these four sets of alternative values, is an interval ranking preserved? Is a ratio ranking preserved? Is an ordinal ranking preserved? IMPORTANT: Write all that apply (or “none” if none apply). (4 points)
B = (7.5, 5, 0, −3.75):
C = (50, 30, 0, −25):
D = (6,4,0,3):
E = (15, 5, −15, 30):

Here is their argument. given the obtuse angle x, we make a quadrilateral abcd with ∠dab = x, and ∠abc = 90◦, and ad = bc. say the perpendicular bisector to dc meets the perpendicular bisector to ab at p. then pa = pb and pc = pd. so the triangles pad and pbc have equal sides and are congruent. thus ∠pad = ∠pbc. but pab is isosceles, hence ∠pab = ∠pba. subtracting, gives x = ∠pad−∠pab = ∠pbc −∠pba = 90◦. this is a preposterous conclusion – just where is the mistake in the "proof" and why does the argument break down there?

Which is a logical conclusion based on the given information? a. figure abcd is a rhombus by the definition of a rhombus. b. segment ac is congruent to segment dc by cpctc. c. angle acb is congruent to angle adc by the angle-side-angle theorem. d. triangle acd is congruent to triangle cab by the hypotenuse-leg theorem.

Check all that apply. f is a function. f is a one-to-one function. c is a function. c is a one-to-one function.
