Okay, so let's think about this problem first. In order to tie the game up, how many runes does her team need to tie? 17 - 6 = 11 runs. But it asks to win, so we just add one more. 12 runs :-) easy? Now, the opposing team doesn't score, so even easier lol so in the 4 innings, her team needs to score 12 points. r = runs per inning. So,
4 r greater than or equal to 12
r is greater than or equal to 3.
 We know that if you score is greater than 12 then it is obvious you will win, so it is greater than and not less than. If it is equal, then they will win by one. I hope this helps :-)
