Cows+turkeys=82
4 cow legs + 2 turkey legs = 264

4C+ 2T=264
4(82-T)+ 2T=264
(82*4)- (4T+2T)= 264

328-2T=264

-2T/-2= -64/ -2

T=32 there are 32 turkeys
There are 82 heads total
If we know there are 32 turkeys then the rest have to be cows.
82-32=50
