A dart fired vertically upward strikes the ground after 6 seconds. If the air resistance is negligible and the gravitational acceleration is 32 ft./s2, find the initial velocity of the dart. A.
76 ft. per second
B.
80 ft. per second
C.
91 ft. per second
D.
96 ft. per second

I think its 96

a(t)=-32
v(t)=-32t+C

It should spend equal time going up as coming down which means that after 3 seconds it should have a velocity of 0. Plugging that in and solving for C gets 96, which would translate to 96 ft. per second for the initial velocity.
