The escalator moves at a speed of 40 inches per second, while the handrails moves at a slightly but annoyingly faster pace of 42 inches per second. The length of escalator is 140 feet. From the moment a person steps onto the escalator to the moment he steps off, how much farther (in inches) would the handrails have moved ahead of the escalator?
