   subtracting one red changes the next black to a red.. I think

subtract one more red changes the next black to a red

R R R R B   (-2)

 subtract one more red

R R R R R  (-3)

subtract one more and they all fip ..

B B B B B (-4)

This is a bit like a binary counter.. :/ why are you learning this :D
