Choose an object from your environment from which you will make a model. The object you choose must be a composite figure, meaning a figure composed of more than one geometrical shape. In other words, you cannot simply choose a triangle or rectangle. You must choose an object that is made of many different geometrical figures, like a table or chair. A refrigerator, microwave, or door are not good choices since they are not made up of many geometrical figures. Contact your instructor to discuss the object you chose to see if your object is feasible. You will also want to discuss any pros and cons regarding this object with your instructor.
Make a construction of your object on a piece of paper. Using a compass and straightedge, create a 2-D diagram that represents your 3-D object. Consider a side view, top view, and front view. Things to keep in mind: does your object have congruent segments, congruent angles, parallel or perpendicular lines, or any special shapes such as equilateral triangles, squares, or regular hexagons?
Use complete sentences to describe the object you chose to make a model of and why you chose this object.

That is the object I chose but I don't know how to explain it
