Standard forms means to get y by itself and have everything multiplied out. You can get y by itself by adding 11 to both sides. Now you have y=3(x-2)+11. Now multiply the 3 by the number/variable in the parenthesis. You would then have y=3x-6+11. Then combine like terms and you are done. The answer is y=3x+5
