Need help with this problem: There are two dog runs at the pet store. The first one is 11 3/8 feet long and the second one is 13 2/3 feet long. The owner of the store wants to increase the length of the first one by 4 1/2 feet. She wants to increase the length of the second one by 2 5/12 feet.
1. After the lengths of the dog runs are increased what is the length of the longer dog run?

2. How much longer is the longer dog run than the shorter dog run after the lengths are increased?
